Online classes moving to Zoom

Starting Tuesday, April 7, Ahimsa Yoga with Deanna‘s classes will be live streamed on Zoom instead of YouTube.

This is an exciting change, and I hope you’ll enjoy the enhanced ability to interact that Zoom creates for us. If you’re new to Zoom, don’t worry: it’s very easy to use, and I’ll hold an open house Monday, April 6, from 3:30 to 4:30 p.m. so that you can try Zoom out, explore the interface, ask questions, or just say hello!

Ready? Here are directions for using Zoom for the open house and for classes:

Downloading Zoom:

If you don’t already have a Zoom account, go to zoom.us to create an account. (It’s free.)
From the homepage, click on “Resources,” then “Download Zoom Client.”

Attending a Class:

Just like you’ve been doing, please email deanna@ahimsa-yoga.ca or text me at 780.678.6063 at least 15 minutes prior to the starting time of the class you want to attend.

I’ll respond with a meeting code for Zoom. (Please keep this meeting code private.)

Sign in at zoom.us, and click on “Join a Meeting.”

Type or cut and paste the meeting code, and see and hear our yoga community at your regular class!

Attending the Open House:

If you want to drop by the open house on Monday, April 6, at any point between 3:30 and 4:30 p.m. to check out what a Zoom class will look like, ask questions, or just say hello, here is the link:
https://us02web.zoom.us/j/172967492…

You may be prompted for a meeting ID: 172 967 492
and password: 801398

As always, email or text me if you have any comments, questions, or suggestions.

I hope to see many of you at the open house on April 6—and at Tuesday’s classes on Zoom!
